“Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?” Jesus asked his disciples in the Gospel of Matthew, pointing out humans’ natural inclination to see the flaws in others that they can’t see in themselves.
The same week Nancy Pelosi is holding a show trial on the events of January 6, 2021, Joe Biden’s DOJ has announced that the Federal government is dropping their investigations into Democrat Governors Andrew Cuomo(D-NY) and Gretchen Whitmer(D-Mi) for their role sending Covid positive patients back to nursing homes, which caused the deaths of thousands of senior citizens. The Biden Administration has no curiosity to find out why that happened, and to try to hold those responsible for those deaths accountable. Thousands of senior citizens dying unnecessarily does not matter to the Biden ministration and the Democrats. So, we are not investigating the senseless and avoidable deaths of thousands of seniors, but investigating people who trespassed at the Capital and did not kill anyone.
You would think that the media would recognize the hypocrisy of dropping the nursing home investigation the same week the House is conducting the January 6th investigation, but no one in today’s “mainstream” media can connect the dots, or wants to. Is anyone even paying attention to the House investigation? Does it have any impact? No. So, Nancy Pelosi is being allowed to undermine the authority of the House of Representatives which she is the leader.
Pelosi has defended the need for this investigation claiming she is obligated to find the truth. But is she doesn’t know the truth of what happened on January 6th, how could she have sent articles of impeachment against Donald Trump to the Senate based on his involvement on January 6th? Is it common for the House of Representatives to file articles of impeachment against a President based on an incident that the they don’t know what happened?
Pelosi has repeatedly called the incident an “insurrection”, but how can she call it an “insurrection” when she doesn’t know the truth of what happened? How can anyone call it an “insurrection” when none of the 500-plus people who have been arrested were charged with treason or sedition, when none of the “insurrectionists” were armed, when the most dangerous “insurrectionist” was an unarmed 130-pound woman, Ashlii Babbitt? She had to be the most dangerous one there because she was the only one who was shot and killed by police. If there were others more dangerous than her, and they weren’t shot, that puts the justification of her shooting in question. Was that level of force against her necessary, if others more dangerous at the Capital we’re not shot? But there will be no investigation into the shooting of this unarmed white woman. Her life does not matter.
At the same time we are conducting this investigation, there have been no investigations and very few arrests in the BLM and Antifa riots which ravaged our major cities for five months in 2020; killing over 30 people, sending thousands of police officers to the hospital, burning thousands of buildings to the ground, causing billions of dollars of damage. The people who were killed, or lost their businesses and livelihoods during these riots do not matter.
The Biden Administration tells us that white supremacy is the biggest domestic threat in our country today, as they stare directly at the death and destruction caused by BLM and Antifa, while people like Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris referred to these riots as “peaceful protests”. Looking at video from within the Capital on January 6th, it is evident that the so-called “insurrection” was infinitely more peaceful than the BLM and Antifa riots, yet there’s no investigation into their origin.
There is also no investigation into the people who torched the police station in Minneapolis, or those who fire bombed the Federal courthouse in Portland, or those who burned the church in the shadows of the White House, or the people who attacked the barricades if front of the White House while Donald Trump was inside, assaulting Capital Police officers and secret service agents. Where are the investigations into the rioters who attacked Wisconsin’s Capital to stop Scott Walker, or into the organizers of Occupy Wall Street which terrorized Lower Manhattan for over a year. All of those illegal and violent acts were allowed to be committed with impunity because they were committed by Democrats against Republicans.
How many more of these show trials are we going to have to put up with? We have endured two purely partisan impeachment trials against Donald Trump based on no evidence; and a 2½ year “Russian Collusion” investigation based on unfounded, uncorroborated opposition research paid for by the Clinton campaign.
The country came to a screeching halt for two weeks when Christie Blasé-Ford accused Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault 35 years earlier with no evidence other than her memory which couldn’t remember the day, month, year or the location of the “alleged” assault. The Democrats are so concerned with the sanctity of the hollowed Capital that they chose not to investigate the hundreds of people who broke into the Capital during those hearings, pounding on the doors of the Senate, disrupting the Senate while it was conducting business. How many of those arrested for interfering with those Senate proceedings spent 6 months in solitary confinement like many from January 6th still are?
Shortly after the Kavanaugh hearings, the Senate chose not to investigate Tara Reid’s credible accusations of sexual assault against Joe Biden. They had to investigate the unfounded sexual assault allegations against a Conservative Supreme Court nominee, yet they completely ignored the sexual assault allegations against a Democratic Presidential candidate who had consistent, contemporaneous and corroborating evidence against him. Even Joe Biden himself believes that any accusation of sexual misconduct should be investigated. He was the one who led the “electronic lynching” of Conservative Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas in 1991 based on unfounded sexual harassment allegations.
Speaking of sexual harassment, how are the investigations into the dozens of sexual harassment accusations against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo progressing? They have fallen off the media’s radar screen, and soon off the judicial system’s as well. As we are ignoring a Democrat governor’s sexual harassment accusations, Attorney General Merrick Garland has stated that the IRS must turn over Donald Trump’s taxes to Congress, a request that is completely unconstitutional. But why is our AG doing this? If the IRS has Trump’s tax returns, they are fully capable of determining whether his taxes were filed legally, and if he paid the taxes he owed to the government. Why does Congress need to have Trump’s tax returns, then? Politics. Attorney General Merrick Garland wants Congress to have his taxes so they can have another sham investigation and politicize every line of his tax returns.
The Democrat party has become a sanctuary party, a party that people can join and commit crimes with impunity. If they are a member of the Democratic Party and will vote Democrat, they will not be prosecuted for illegal activity. The Democrats are currently allowing millions of illegal immigrants into our country and want to give them amnesty for their crimes because they know the majority will vote Democrat while thousands of legitimate political asylum-seekers from Cuba are being turned away because if allowed in, they would vote majority Republican. So, the lesson is, if you plan on breaking the law make sure you are a registered Democrat, that way there’s a good chance you will get away with it.
